| Give peace a chance: There are many
American-Lebanese organization who sent help and raised relief funds and have
done a great job. It would be great if we have similar organizations working for peace. Lebanon's history has been filled with years of wars, kidnappings, torture and much suffering. This has been going on for years. Relief efforts are helpful but do not bring back a lost parent or erase the suffering. Promoting peace can give people hope. We received many stories of people wanting to just leave the country as they want to give their children a chance to live in peace. These families deserve a chance to have peace. |
