About two years ago, Dr Hamid Kantara, a Lebanese-American in Houston Tx. recognized the need to bring many Lebanese together under one umbrella.  He created what is now the friendliest Lebanese group on the net.  Lebanese Friends as he called it, was created to help keep the spirit of our culture, heritage and hope alive. It is designed to do just what it says, build friendships. The group have succeeded in putting religious and political differences aside in order to create harmony, peace and love.  This is a great attitude to pass on to future generations.  This group is open to all Lebanese and non Lebanese who want to make friends and maybe find the love of their life. You can have sincere and open discussions about our heritage, climate, society, economy, dating and relationships. Political and Religious debates are not allowed.  Once you become a member, you will have the opportunity to check the  photos, files, bookmarks, polls and database sections on the site. This month the site we  present to you is www.lebanonpanorama.com  . This is a wonderful site created by Mr. William Matar, the son of the famous Lebanese painter and poet, Mr. Joseph Matar.  The site features beautiful panoramic views across Lebanon.  For the Lebanese this site will reminisce the beauty of our Lebanon.  To the non-Lebanese, this is a wonderful opportunity to view and appreciate the beauty we are so proud of.  Mr. William Matar, who is a lawyer in Lebanon, manages other sites that you may want to visit and enjoy. Mr. Matar supports the mission of WLCU and has offered to post banners and links of our organization.
